Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea have reportedly made official inquiries to RB Leipzig about the possibility of signing centre-back Castello Lukeba.

According to the source, Liverpool could see Lukeba as a successor to 34-year-old Virgil van Dijk.
It is noted that Leipzig and the 23-year-old footballer have agreed that the latter will leave the club in the summer. His contract has a release clause of £70 million (€80.5 million), but Lukeba's potential transfer could cost an interested club £55 million (€63.2 million).
Lukeba has made 26 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist. The player's current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2029. According to Transfermarkt, the player's market value is €45 million.
