Lent.az reports that a day earlier, the "Merseysiders" made the most expensive transfer in the history of the English Premier League (EPL), acquiring Swedish striker Alexander Isaac from "Newcastle" for 144 million euros. With this, the club updated its own record set in June. At that time, 125 million euros were paid for "Bayer"'s German footballer Florian Wirtz.
In addition, "Liverpool" transferred Hugo Ekitike for 95 million euros. Milos Kerkez cost the "Reds" 46.9 million euros, and Jeremy Frimpong 40 million euros. 31 million euros were paid for Giovanni Leoni. Against this background, the transfer of 20-year-old Hungarian goalkeeper Armin Pechini almost came free: the "Puskas Academy" club received only 1.78 million euros for him.
