The friendly match between Lithuania and Israel will be held without spectators. Sport24.az reports that Edgars Stankevicius, President of the Lithuanian Football Federation, made a statement about this:
"For us and our fans, every national team home game is a sports holiday. This decision was not easy for us. We held extensive consultations with the police and other public safety agencies.
And we were informed that various protests are planned on game day. We don't want these protests to spill over onto the football field."
It should be noted that the match between Lithuania and Israel will be held on November 13 in Kaunas.
