List of referees invited to the 2026 World Cup announced - Uzbek referees included

The list of referees invited to the World Cup to be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico this summer has been announced. Sport24.az reports that the FIFA press service has released information about this.

Among the referees who will go to the Mundial will be a team of referees from Uzbekistan consisting of chief referee Ilgiz Tantashev, linesmen Timur Gainullin, and Andrey Tsapenko.

It should be noted that a total of 52 head referees, 88 assistants, and 30 VAR referees were invited to the 2026 World Cup.
