Inter Miami owner Jorge Mas has revealed the annual salary of the club's Argentinian star, Lionel Messi. Sport24.az reports that he spoke about this to Bloomberg:
"The reason I need world-class sponsors is because the players are expensive. I pay Messi a salary of between $70-80 million a year. But the Argentinian footballer pays back every penny he is paid."
It should be noted that Messi has been wearing the Inter Miami uniform since July 2023. He has scored 79 goals and made 44 assists in 90 games for the MLS representative.
