Lionel Messi to extend his contract with Inter Miami until 2028

Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi will extend his contract with the club until the end of 2028. Sport24.az reports that journalist Xavi Campos (17.9 thousand subscribers on the X social network) spoke about this on the Tot Costa podcast.

According to the source, the new agreement will be announced in the coming weeks.

Leo plans to play in the 2026 World Cup and the 2028 America's Cup. The 38-year-old Argentine's current contract with the "reds" runs until the end of 2025.

It should be noted that Messi has played 23 matches in all tournaments for the US club this season, scoring 19 goals and providing 2 assists.
