Lent.az reports that Messi turned 38 on June 24. His transfer value is estimated at 18 million euros.
The previous record belonged to the 40-year-old forward of the Portuguese national team, Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, whose transfer value at the age of 38 was 15 million euros.
