Once the agreement is settled, the 38-year-old Argentinian's contract will be sent to MLS for approval.
The Argentinian star has been playing for Inter Miami since July 2023, and his current contract is valid until December 31 this year. In the 2025 season, he has led his team in all tournaments with 23 goals in 29 games and 11 assists.
It should be noted that, according to Transfermarkt, Messi's transfer value is 18 million euros.
