The Argentine star was injured in a friendly match against Ecuadorian Barcelona on February 8. Because of this, Lionel is not training with the team.
He was diagnosed with a strained muscle in his left thigh. He underwent additional medical examinations and the diagnosis was confirmed.
No information has been provided about when Messi will return to the field.
