Inter Miami striker Lionel Messi has won the Golden Boot as the top scorer of the MLS regular season.
According to Report, the award was presented before the 1/8 final play-off match with Nashville held at the Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale (Florida, USA).
In the regular season, the 38-year-old Argentine scored 29 goals in 28 matches, five goals ahead of his closest followers Denis Bouanga (Los Angeles) and Sam Sarric (Nashville).
Messi has been playing for Inter Miami since the summer of 2023. During this time, he played 82 games in all competitions, scored 71 goals and provided 37 assists. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is 18 million euros.
