Argentine forward Lionel Messi has agreed to all the terms of a new contract with Inter Miami.
According to "Report", insider journalist Nicolo Schira reported this on his X page.
Messi's current contract runs until the end of the year.
In July, journalist Javi Campos stated that Messi intends to extend his contract with the club until the end of 2028 because he wants to play in the next World Cup (2026) and Copa America (2028).
The 38-year-old Messi has been playing for Inter Miami since 2023. During his career, Messi played for Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain. The Argentine has won eight Ballon d'Or awards. With the Argentine national team, he won the 2022 World Cup, 2021 and 2024 Copa America, 2022 Finalissima and 2008 Olympic Games.
