Former England international Gary Lineker has strongly criticized Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta's working methods. According to Sport24.az, the 65-year-old former striker, analyzing the current situation of the London club on the "Rest is Football" program, emphasized that the team is under severe pressure:
"They showed the whole world how pressure affects the team. Arsenal is currently fighting against itself, it seems."
Lineker specifically targeted Arteta's recently implemented unusual training methods, calling this approach "shameful":
"It can be said that Arteta's training methods have already reached a ridiculous level. If they really want to succeed and compete, they must first maintain calmness."
It should be noted that Arteta is reported to have given unusual tasks to the players in recent training sessions. It is claimed that the players performed various coordination and attention exercises, and even used visual materials during training.
