The RFU (Russian Football Union) Club Licensing Appeals Committee upheld the decision to refuse to grant a license to "Khimki". Sport24.az reports that the decision was made at today's meeting of the committee.
At the meeting, Khimki's appeal was rejected, and the RFU Licensing Commission's decision to refuse to grant the club a license to participate in the next season of the Russian Premier League remained in effect.
This decision was made because the club did not comply with the financial licensing criteria.
It should be noted that the president of "Khimki", which finished the 2024/25 season in 12th place in the standings, is Azerbaijani businessman Tufan Sadigov.
