Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior has sharply criticised the team's performance after a series of defeats in the English Premier League. The experienced specialist called the 0-3 defeat to Brighton "unacceptable" and sent serious messages to his players.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to Sky Sports that Rosenior emphasised that he can no longer defend the players.
"It was an unacceptable game in every sense. I come here and defend the players every time, but it is impossible to defend what happened tonight. You play for Chelsea, and I run this club. If you can't handle it, you shouldn't be here," said the head coach.
Rosenior said that the time for radical changes in the club has come and everyone is responsible. He noted that everyone, including himself, should learn from their mistakes:
"Something drastic needs to change right now. We need to look in the mirror. I need to look in the mirror myself."
Rosenior concluded by appealing to the fans, promising that they would see a different team in the next match:
"I will choose a team that will represent this club properly in the game on Sunday."
