Barcelona and Polish national team member Robert Lewandowski, recalling his years with Guardiola at Bayern, said that tactical discussions with the coach had a great impact on his career. Sport24.az reports that the football player spoke about this in an interview with Sky Sports:
"Pep told me that he could help me get the ball into the penalty area, but I shouldn't listen to any coach who advises me whether to go to the near or far post. Thanks to Pep, I started to understand football in a different way - not only as a player, but also as a coach."
It should be noted that the Polish forward wore the Bayern uniform between 2014 and 2022. The football player scored 238 times in 253 matches for the German giant.
