"We won the first match with a last-minute goal, but this should not give us comfort for the return match." Sport24.az reports with reference to Telegraf that the head coach of the Bulgarian club "Levski" Julio Velasquez said this at a press conference before the return match of the III qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League against "Sabah" in Baku.
The 44-year-old specialist said that tomorrow's match will be different: "We want to continue our successful streak. The opponent has very good players in various positions. It will be a difficult game, but our goal is to continue."
According to him, they will not go to the field to defend: "We have to put our last games aside. As in the first match with "Sabah", our main goal is not to defend. The priority is to keep the ball in the middle and attack. We are not going to defend. I think we will see a more dynamic game than the first game."
He emphasized that they are not thinking of stopping the fight in the European Cup: "We want to focus on the game and win."
Velasquez said that they are ready for a possible penalty shootout: "We already have such experience in the I and II qualifying rounds, respectively, in games with "Hapoel Beer-Sheva" and "Braga". But we want to solve our problem in the main time."
Velasquez announced that Georgi Konstantinov, who faced an injury problem some time ago, had a good last training session: "He may be on the field depending on the situation."
