Today, "Sabah" played the first match of the third qualifying round of the Conference League. The team led by Valdas Dambrauskas faced the Bulgarian club "Levski" away. In the match, the home team won with a goal scored in the last minute. Sport24.az reports that at the press conference held after the match, "Levski"'s head coach Jose Velasquez noted the following:
"Today I am very pleased with my players and proud of them. I can say that our players did a great job. The players were extremely focused on the match. A difficult match awaits us in Azerbaijan. If we consider ourselves the favorite of the pair, the result may not be good for us."
