Spanish La Liga representative "Levante" has parted ways with head coach Xulian Calero.
Idman.Biz reports that the decision of the club's Board of Directors was announced on the official website and it was stated that cooperation with the specialist was terminated.
The decision to part ways with Calero was made the day after the team lost 0:2 at home to Athletic. The club thanked the 55-year-old coach for his work during this period and wished him success in his future career.
Calero took over as "Levante"'s helmsman in the summer of 2023. During this time, the "red-blues" played 58 matches, with 25 wins, 16 draws and 17 losses.
"Levante" is currently in 19th place in the La Liga standings and has scored only 9 points after 14 rounds.
