Journalists from the French publication "L'Equipe" working in Baku have presented the potential starting lineup for the French national team for the match against Azerbaijan as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifying round.
According to Idman.Biz, the head coach of the French national team, Didier Deschamps, had previously stated that his team would not be playing with their main squad in Baku. It was later revealed that Kylian Mbappe and a number of other leading players had left the national team.
According to journalists, PSG's 24-year-old goalkeeper, Lucas Chevalier, is expected to make his debut in goal. The defense line should be formed by Malo Gusto, Ibrahima Konaté, as well as brothers Lucas and Theo Hernandez.
