Lennart Karl, a midfielder for the German club Bayern Munich, has set a new record in the UEFA Champions League.
"Report" reports, citing ESPN, that he has become the youngest goalscorer for the Munich team in the tournament.
The German player scored in the 5th minute of the match (4:0) against Brugge (Belgium) in the third round of the league stage. He was 17 years and 242 days old when he scored the goal.
The previous record at Bayern belonged to midfielder Jamal Musiala. He was 121 days older than Karl when he scored in the 1/8 finals of the UEFA Champions League against Lazio in February 2021.
It should be noted that in the 2025/2026 season, L.Karl has scored 1 goal and 1 assist in 9 matches in all tournaments.
