England's Leeds United have strengthened their defensive line with a new player. Sport24.az reports that the team, which has been promoted to the Premier League, has signed Jaka Bijol from Udinese.
The club's press service announced this.
Leeds United paid the Italian club 18 million euros in compensation for the Slovenian centre-back. The 26-year-old footballer has signed a 5-year contract.
It should be noted that Jaka Bijol moved from CSKA Moscow to Udinese in the summer of 2022. The Slovenian international scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists in 37 official matches for the Serie A team last season.
