A lecture on combating racism, one of the criteria of Social Responsibility in Football, was held at "Gabala" Football Club. According to Sport24.az, the event was attended by the football players and coaching staff of the "Gabala" Academy, as well as other employees of the club.
During the lecture given by Shair Abdulla, "Gabala's" social responsibility manager in football, the participants were given detailed information about racism, one of the main problems of world football. In addition, relevant articles on combating racism in the UEFA Statute were brought to the attention of the participants.
During the lecture, information was provided about racist behaviors in European football in recent years and the relevant penalties imposed by UEFA and local football federations. The biological and psychological inequality created by racism was condemned, and every member of the club was called upon not to create such cases of discrimination.
It should be noted that the slogan "NO TO RACISM", which is among other posters in Gabala city stadium, is a clear proof that "Gabala" Sports Club condemns racism, which destroys unity and solidarity between societies and causes oppression and exploitation.
