Qarabağ's footballer, Leandro Andrade, has scored his 40th goal in the Premier League.
Report reports, citing the official website of the Professional Football League, that the Portuguese midfielder's jubilee goal coincided with his 127th match.
He scored a double in the XXIII round of the Misli Premier League against Araz-Nakhchivan (6:0). Leandro's first goal was a jubilee one. By scoring a second time, he brought his record in the Azerbaijani championships to 41.
Andrade, who debuted in the Premier League in the 2021/2022 season and only played for Qarabağ, entered the history of the tournament as the 70th footballer to score 40 or more goals. The midfielder is now level with Samir A. Mammadov, Fazil Asadov, Leandro Gomes, and Bagali Dabo, who have also scored 41 goals.
