The second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 did not produce any sensational results. "Bayern", "Arsenal", "Liverpool", PSG, "Real", "Barcelona", "Sporting" and "Atletico" advanced to the quarter-finals.
The pairings are as follows: "Real" vs. "Bayern", "Sporting" vs. "Arsenal", PSG vs. "Liverpool", and "Barcelona" vs. "Atletico".
Lent.az reports that "PopFoot" has compiled a table showing all the clubs that have qualified for the Champions League quarter-finals in the last ten years.
It is revealed that La Liga has sent 25 clubs to this stage of European competitions, while the Premier League has sent two fewer - 23 clubs. Even more surprising is that the Bundesliga has almost twice as many clubs as Serie A - 16 to 9. "Bayern" only failed to reach this stage in 2019. Meanwhile, the Italians are only one club ahead of Ligue 1.
