Al-Ittihad's head coach Laurent Blanc has resigned. Sport24.az reports that the club's official website announced this.
The contract with the 59-year-old Frenchman was terminated by mutual agreement after the team lost 2-0 to Al-Nassr in the 4th round of the Saudi Arabian Premier League.
It should be noted that Blanc had been managing Al-Ittihad since July 2024. Under his leadership, the team became the champion of Saudi Arabia and won the cup.
