The specialist, who announced the squad for the June matches against Azerbaijan and Albania, commented on his choice regarding the invited players: "The doors of the national team are open to those who have never played for the national team. And the place of those who have been here for a long time is not guaranteed. This applies to all players. We want to see new players in action. We will give them a chance to show themselves. We have also called up players who made a good impression in U-21 and attracted our attention. I spoke with them and I know that they will wear this uniform with pride."
It should be noted that the Latvia-Azerbaijan match will be held in Riga on June 7.
