The Azerbaijan national football team will play its next friendly match today. Sport24.az reports that the team, coached by Fernando Santos, will face Latvia in Riga.
Maltese Farruca Kan Trastin will ensure fairness in the match, which will start at 17:00 Baku time.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team will also play a friendly match with the Hungarian team in Baku on June 10. This will be the national team's last preparatory meeting for WC-2026. The Azerbaijani national team lost both of its previous friendly matches this year - against Haiti (0:3) and Belarus (0:2).
