The Bucharest University Hospital has issued a statement regarding the health of renowned coach Mircea Lucescu.
It was previously reported that Lucescu had been hospitalized.
"The patient is currently receiving specialized cardiac treatment and no new pathological changes have been detected. The patient's condition is stable, he is conscious and cooperating with medical staff," the statement said.
The coach suffered a heart attack while in the hospital. Doctors saved him in the acute phase, but he was placed in intensive care.
