Barcelona president Joan Laporta has not given up on the idea of signing Manchester City striker Erling Haaland - in fact, he wants to complete the transfer before the 2026 presidential elections in order to come to the campaign with strong arguments.
Lent.az reports, citing foreign media, that according to the source, Laporta is thinking about Haaland, and the striker himself has not ruled out a move to Barcelona if an offer arrives. His contract with Manchester City runs until 2034 and there is no transfer clause. The Norwegian earns around 25 million euros a year with bonuses.

Haaland's form this season remains terrifying: 19 games, 22 goals and 2 assists.
Laporta clearly wants to repeat the impact of the transfers of Ronaldinho or Neymar - only now Haaland should be the top player.
