Barcelona president Joan Laporta has spoken about the possibility of Lionel Messi returning to the Catalan club. Sport24.az reports that he made a statement about this to TV3:
"Leo can return to Barcelona whenever he wants. If he decides to help strengthen and increase the greatness of a club like Barcelona, the club's doors are open to him."
Messi, who left Barcelona in 2021, currently plays for Inter Miami in MLS.
It should be noted that Laporta was re-elected president of Barcelona on March 15. He will lead the Catalan club until 2031.
