Joan Laporta, the president of the Spanish football club Barcelona, commented on the current state of the club's financial situation and the European Super League.
Idman.Biz, citing Mon Esport, reports that the club's head emphasized that all La Liga representatives are under very strict financial control. He stated that the Catalans will generate 1.1 billion euros (2 billion AZN) in revenue for the current period. This amount is more than previously forecast.
According to the president, this increase will greatly help the club comply with "financial fair play" rules and form the necessary budget for new transfers.
Laporta also touched on the long-discussed Super League project. He stated emphatically that this project is no longer on the agenda and has been completely suspended.
