Barcelona presidential candidate Joan Laporta responded to criticisms from Xavi, the former head coach of the Catalan representative. Sport24.az reports that he made a statement about this to El Chiringuito:

It was previously reported that Xavi criticized the Barcelona management for not wanting to strengthen the squad during his time.
