Barcelona president Joan Laporta has explained how Paris Saint-Germain tried to transfer Spanish national team forward Lamine Yamal from the Catalans.
Idman.Biz reports that media outlets had previously reported the French club's interest in the young player.
"PSG offered us 250 million euros for Lamine Yamal two years ago. We refused it. He was 17 years old - some thought we were crazy!" - journalist Fabrizio Romano quoted Laporta as saying.
Lamine Yamal has been a member of Barcelona's main team since April 2023. The Spanish footballer debuted at the age of 15 years and 290 days. This season, the striker has scored 15 goals and 14 assists in 33 games in all competitions for the blaugrana.
