Barcelona president Joan Laporta has commented on Dro Fernandes, a product of Barcelona's youth academy, moving to PSG.
According to Idman.Biz, Laporta stated that if Jorge Mendes had represented the player's interests, this transfer would not have taken place.
"If Jorge Mendes had represented Dron, this transfer to Paris Saint-Germain would never have happened. We felt betrayed," journalist Fabrizio Romano quoted Laporta's words on the X social media platform.
It should be noted that Jorge Mendes is the agent of several Barcelona players, including Lamine Yamal and Alex Balde.
PSG announced Fernandez's transfer on January 27, 2026. The company "De la Peña & Sostres" acts as his agent. The agency also represents Gavi and Eric Garcia.
