Joan Laporta, the former president of the Barcelona football club preparing for the election, has started collecting signatures for his candidacy for the presidency of Barcelona during his visit to Andorra.

He met with supporters by slicing hamon (one of the most popular national meat products of Spain - ed.) in the office he opened in Andorra.
For your information, more than 800 official members of the Barcelona football club live in Andorra. The next presidential election at the Barcelona club will be held in the summer of 2026. Laporta plans to run again as a candidate in that election.
