Barcelona president Joan Laporta has commented on Real Madrid's frequent criticism of referees.
Idman.Biz reports that Laporta touched upon a number of points regarding the teams' clash in El Clasico:
"Let's all prepare for a beautiful match where we are sure our team will bring us great joy. The opponent has created an unhealthy atmosphere around the refereeing corps. The actions of that club's TV channel influence the referees; this is an undesirable and unacceptable winning strategy.
They cannot say that the referees are harming them or helping Barca. We will not play the victim role, we will try to win at the Bernabeu again."
Note that "El Clasico" will be held today as part of the 10th round of the Spanish Championship.
