17-year-old winger Lamine Yamal of Barcelona, Catalonia, and the Spanish national team has flown to Brazil to spend part of his vacation and also meet Neymar.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the talented Spanish footballer is expected to arrive in Sao Paulo on the morning of June 17. In addition to relaxing, Yamal also plans to meet Neymar, the star of the Brazilian national team, whom he has considered his main idol since childhood.
"The first time I saw Neymar was when I was five years old at Santos, and then the first time I saw him in person I was seven. Seeing him play for Barcelona was incredible. Messi was also incredible, but for me, Neymar was something else entirely. Neymar has always been my idol. He is a star and a legend of football," said Lamine Yamal.
Lamine is flying to South America with his friends. It will be clear in a few days whether he will be able to meet Neymar.
Neymar himself, after returning to his homeland - the club "Santos", is currently not so brilliant with his results.
He constantly suffers from injuries, and moreover, the attacker often stands out with incorrect behavior on the field.
Two months ago, Neymar received a yellow card in a Brazilian league match for punching an opponent in the face. Shortly after, he received a red card for a handball in an official match.
