La Liga president Javier Tebas has spoken about his desire to introduce the possibility for a team's head coach in the Spanish championship to request a video review without the referee's decision. Sport24.az reports that he made a statement to the Sport.es portal regarding this:
"Generally, I would like to raise the issue of VAR. I like the system that FIFA is testing, where each head coach has the opportunity to request a review twice per match without waiting for the referee's decision regarding VAR. I am sure that such an experience will help to avoid disagreements. We can test this system at the highest level in the Spanish Primera División".
It should be noted that the president of La Liga has repeatedly criticized the current rules regarding the operation of VAR, emphasizing that disputes regarding refereeing decisions damage the image of the tournament.
