PSG's Georgian forward, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, matched Thierry Henry's shot antirecord in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League play-off stage against Monaco (3:2).
"Report" reports, citing Opta Sports, that the 25-year-old footballer took 8 shots towards the opponent's goal, but none of them hit the target.
This is the highest number of shots in the history of the tournament that did not hit the target in a single game.
A similar record previously belonged to Thierry Henry, the former forward of London's Arsenal. The French forward experienced the same misfortune in matches against Chelsea (England) in 2004 and CSKA (Russia) in 2006.
It should be noted that X.Kvaratskhelia was on the field for 69 minutes in the aforementioned match, but did not leave a mark with productive actions. The return match between the teams will take place on February 25 at the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris.
