"Turan Tovuz" won with a score of 1:0, hosting "Gabala" in its home field as part of the IV round of the Misli Premier League. Sport24.az reports that Kurban Berdyev, the head coach of "Turan Tovuz", answered journalists' questions at the press conference held after the game:
"As we expected, it was a difficult game. "Gabala" is a very good team, they have fast forwards. We played better in the 2nd half and won. Compared to last year, we have drawn the necessary conclusions. We have strengthened the defense line."
- How would you assess the transfer period?
- In principle, we are satisfied with those we have invited. We wanted to add a central defender to our squad, but it didn't work out.
- As you know, the Azerbaijani national team is looking for a head coach. In your opinion, would it be more effective to have a local head coach in the national team, or a foreign one?
- I don't want to answer this question. I only want to talk about the game.
