"Unfortunately, we lost two very important points. The second half of the game turned out a bit different. We will analyze our mistakes and prepare for the next game," said Berdyev.
Answering journalists' questions, Berdyev also touched upon the forced changes and injuries in the squad. He commented on the performance of Faig Hajiyev, who entered the field after Enrique Silva's injury, as follows:
"Faig hadn't played for a long time. Therefore, it is natural to have some mistakes. As for the absence of Roderick Miller, he could not help us today because he was injured."
The head coach agreed with the criticism regarding the team losing points in games against outsiders and the problem of motivation:
"Unfortunately, you are right in this opinion. The same situation happened after the games with both "Zira" and "Neftchi". I think that the players do not have enough emotions. The focus and concentration against the leaders are not present in matches against such teams. We will definitely work on this".
