A meeting of the AFFA Disciplinary Committee was held. Sport24.az reports that the following decisions were made regarding the matches of the Azerbaijan Cup:
The Gabala team was warned (Article 20) because the Gabala team arrived later than the appointed time for the first quarter-final match of the Bizon Azerbaijan Cup "Sabah" - "Gabala" on February 4, 2026;
On February 5, 2026, in the 41st minute of the first quarter-final match of the Bizon Azerbaijan Cup "Turan Tovuz" - "Kapaz", the coach of the "Turan Tovuz" team, Yunis Huseynov, was suspended for 1 game for receiving a red card from the second yellow card due to protesting the referee's decision, and the "Turan Tovuz" team was fined 2,500 manats (Article 51.2);
On February 5, 2026, in the 64th minute of the first quarter-final match of the Bizon Azerbaijan Cup "Turan Tovuz" - "Kapaz", the head coach of the "Turan Tovuz" team, Kurban Berdiyev, was suspended for 4 games for insulting the referees after receiving a direct red card for pushing the referee, and the "Turan Tovuz" team was fined 10,000 manats (Article 52.4);
