Former Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has revealed the name of the player whose absence has seriously affected Barcelona's game. Sport24.az reports that the German veteran midfielder said that the departure of Inigo Martinez had a negative impact on the Catalan representative:
"Inigo Martinez was a very important player for Barcelona. He is the best at getting the ball out of defense. Maybe not the fastest, but he has a perfect first pass. This was clearly felt in the game against Real. The team had difficulty with pressing. They couldn't fill his place."
It should be noted that Inigo Martinez moved to the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr in the summer transfer window. Barcelona lost 1:2 to Real Madrid in the 10th round of La Liga.
