Kroos responds to rumors of resuming his career

Former Real Madrid player Toni Kroos has made a statement. Sport24.az reports that the midfielder has commented on rumors circulating about his possible return to football:

 

"I never had such an idea. Because I left the way I wanted. I closed my football chapter. I always thought about how I could best end my career, and everything went the way I wanted."

 

During his career, Kroos played for Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. The 36-year-old former midfielder "hung up his boots" in 2024.
