Koxalski expresses his desire to play in the Champions League

"We had a good game. I'm happy that we won. We earned another 3 points. Everything is fine. Although 'Sumgayit' lost, they fought well."

These words were said by "Qarabağ" goalkeeper Mateusz Koxalski in an interview with GOL.az, while talking about the game in the 33rd round of the Misli Premier League, where they defeated "Sumgayit" with a score of 2:0.

The Polish goalkeeper stated that he was happy to experience the joy of championship for the first time with "Qarabağ": "It's a great feeling to be a champion. Next season, we will compete in the Champions League. Playing in this tournament is my dream. Not only mine, I think every football player dreams of playing in the continent's number 1 club tournament."

He emphasized that they will not have problems with motivation in the next matches: "It's true that we have already secured the championship. The upcoming rounds do not matter to us. However, this cannot affect our motivation in any way. Everyone's dream is to win every match. The head coach makes rotations in these games. There is strong competition in our team. Everyone is fighting for their position."

The 25-year-old goalkeeper also spoke about the match against "Araz-Nakhchivan" in the next round: "It will be difficult. "Araz-Nakhchivan" plays very well. They are also very strong physically. It is always difficult to fight with them. However, our goal is to win as in every match."

M.Koxalski said that he will continue to work for the success of "Qarabağ" in the coming season as well: "Everything satisfies me in "Qarabağ". Moreover, I have a contract with the club for another 2 years."
