Barcelona defender Jules Koundé has called the club's midfielder Pedri a genius.
İdman.Biz reports that Pedri has been playing for the Catalan club since 2020.
"Pedri is my favorite player. He's just great. To be honest, he's one of those players who operates on a different level. Even the things he does in training and everything... It's his innate technique. He can turn left or right, he can play with both his right and left foot, he has incredible vision, he's capable of so much.
I think there's another aspect that doesn't get enough attention: his defensive work. Pedri is a player who is constantly running... [In defense] he wins the ball... Last year he led all players in Europe in ball-winning plays.
He runs about 12 km every match and in doing so he has to win the ball, push the team forward, distribute passes and break down the opponent's defense. Pedri is just a brilliant player, a truly brilliant footballer," he said.
