"Liverpool" defender Ibrahima Konate made a statement after the match against "Galatasaray" (0:1) in the second round of the UEFA Champions League group stage. Sport24.az reports that the French national team member said that losing to the Turkish club was not considered a surprise result:
"The defeat to Galatasaray is not a surprise. The Istanbul club is a very strong opponent, it is difficult to play against them. They have crazy fans and a magnificent atmosphere in their stadium. We knew that. But we are disappointed. We lost because of a penalty. I'm not sure if it was a penalty. We need to focus on the rest of the season."
