Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate has spoken about a possible contract extension with the Merseysiders.
Idman.Biz reports that the French footballer's current contract expires in the summer of 2026.
"I've seen a lot of news in the press lately, for example, about Liverpool making me a new offer. I don't know where this comes from. My agents are still in talks with Liverpool and I hope that my decision will be made very soon and I can announce it," Footmercato quotes Konate.
Konate has been playing for Liverpool since the summer of 2021. The French footballer previously played for RB Leipzig. According to media reports, Real Madrid are interested in the 26-year-old centre-back.
