There has been a change in "Qarabag's" plan regarding goalkeeper Shahrudin Mahammadaliyev. According to information obtained by Sport24.az from a reliable source, the "stallions" have offered a new contract to the member of the Azerbaijan national team.
The main reason for this decision is the high probability of Polish goalkeeper Mateusz Kohalski leaving the team. At the same time, parting ways with Croatian goalkeeper Fabijan Buntic is also on the agenda. In this case, Shahrudin may even become the team's main goalkeeper next season.
Shahrudin Mahammadaliyev, who has just recovered from his injury, is currently in the camp of the Azerbaijan national team.
It should be noted that the goalkeeper was injured in the match against the French national team in November. His current contract with "Qarabag" expires at the end of the season.
