The Paris court ruled in favor of PSG, lifting the seizure of 55 million euros demanded by its former player Kilian Mbappe, which had been previously frozen. Sport24.az reports that this was reported by the "France-Presse" agency.
The 26-year-old forward, currently playing for Real Madrid, was demanding unpaid bonuses and part of his salary from his time at PSG. According to his claim, the total debt amounts to 55 million euros.
However, PSG's lawyers filed a counterclaim, stating that the French footballer had violated the terms of the agreement and therefore demanded 98 million euros in compensation.
Club representatives also emphasized that Mbappe had not provided sufficient grounds for freezing the funds. The court's decision was based precisely on this argument, resulting in the lifting of the block.
